The PuppetPlays project, funded by the European Union (ERC GA835193), offers an introduction to manuscript transcription on the TACT platform.

You can take part in the electronic publication of plays written by 19th-century puppeteers, including fairy tales, melodramas, historical dramas and farces. In this way, a whole section of the history of popular entertainment is being brought to light. The transcribed texts will then be made available online, free of charge, in the anthology currently being prepared on the project website.
